Canterbury School of Architecture | A part of The University for the Creative Arts

With this new series of publications, the Canterbury School of Architecture launches a new way of 'curating' work by academics and practitioners across various disciplines, including architecture and fine art.

The three 'circulating objects' launched on the 20 November 2008  in Canterbury, set the tone for the new series, with one book (extensive:intensive) focusing on innovative practices in spatial design education, another (Update All Possible Worlds) exhibiting the work of highly-acclaimed Berlin-based interdisciplinary practice Lorma Marti, and the third (adjacencies) assembling projects and essays which together indicate the distinct approach of the School.

Topics for further illustrated monographs planned for publication in 2009 range from the everyday experiences of the city to cutting-edge digital practices in spatial design and construction, from the question of 'interiority' to the role of transformative, 'live' projects in education.
