Dr Hocine Bougdah

Reader in Architectural Technology & Environment

Hocine started his Architectural training (Dip Arch) at universite de Constantine (Algeria) followed by a posting in practice and postgraduate studies at UMIST and a research position at Liverpool University where he gained a PhD degree in 1991. He started his academic career some 23 years ago, and his experience includes teaching, management and research. He joined UCA in 2006 as a principal lecturer in architectural technology after almost 10 years at Sheffield Hallam University where he lead the Architectural Technology course and the Environmental Science and Engineering department for a number of years. Since 2008, he is currently a Reader in Architectural Technology and among his responsibilities; the design, development and delivery of the architectural technology curriculum on the B.A. and M.Arch courses in the school as well as the supervision of research degree students.
