Helen Leask

Sessional Lecturer Design

Helen established Leask Architecture in the summer of 2013 after practising in London for 13 years with three different architectural studios: ORMS Architects, Harper Downie and Buckley Gray Yeoman. Following a weekend sojourn to Margate to visit David Chipperfield’s Turner Contemporary gallery, Helen decided to relocate to the town.

Helen’s passion for architecture extends to an insatiable interest in good quality design in all its manifestations. She is always looking for a sense of elegance and order in any design solution, with a strict eye on the detail, proportion and the quality and harmony of the materiality. Accomplishing high standards of design, from concept to completion.
