Students present at Herne Bay Pier Trust public meeting

Ellen Ward and Carla Novak from the Graduate Diploma presented work from stage 4's Shifting Fields project at the meeting of the Herne Bay Pier Trust held on Monday 15th November. The schemes, which propose commercial marina developments on the pier site were supported by demographic, economic and environmental data. Overall the proposals received an enthusiastic response from the meeting, including one contribution that the work presented was a great deal more useful than the Humberts Report commissioned by the Council! While we of course cannot comment on that, it is fair to say that Ellen and Carla acquitted themselves well, the work looked excellent and we are looking forward to further collaboration with the trust and an immanent public exhibition. All involved from CSA would like to extend our thanks to Julian Jennings and the board of trustees for inviting us to show the work at this lively and well attended event.
